Latest News: You can see Opus One performing one number on You Tube entitled "Opus One Big Band Live at Twinwood Festival 2006" Our guitarist Russell Smithson made the DVD and placed it on the sight. For copyright reasons we cannot put any more on this sight but eventually we might well change "It Had to Be You" for another performance of equal stature. Ted Higgins Opus One Band Leader says " any way of promoting Opus One to a wider audience has to be excellent in consideration of it being cost free.

Congratulations Opus One: During 2006 we are pleased to be able to tell you that Opus One received 100% satisfaction from its clients. After almost all our performances Opus One received phone calls or received E. Mails or correspondence praising the entertainment, professional standards and skill of our musicians and vocalists. Ted Higgins Opus One Bandleader says "We often do jobs for people and we have to assume we did a good job when we did not hear from the client afterwards. During 2006 we received more praise letters, phone calls and E. Mails than ever before.""Our rebooking and recommend rate is also very high and this bodes very well for the future of Opus One.

During 2008 Opus One will be 25 years old, on the 9th May to be precise. We are planning a big celebration in the East Herts. region probably on the 10th May in the Broxbourne area. It is hoped we will have as star guests ("Frank and the King") Gary Williams playing Frank Sinatra and Neil Duncan playing Elvis Presley. There will be some tickets on sale to the general public. We are hoping to organise this event in partnership with Hoddesdon Rotary Club who also have their anniversary during early 2008. We will publish more information on this event as soon as it has been finalised.
